Job Title: Mulesoft Developer

 

Job Duties:

  • Develop Mulesoft APIs to act as middleware between Hallmark systems and third-party systems, as well as between Hallmark User interfaces and backend systems. Middleware technologies are one of the most powerful and important technologies in today’s world. Mulesoft is one of the emerging technologies which has proved to have tremendous benefits in Information Technology world as a middleware Enterprise Service Bus (ESB).
  • Design APIs with help of architects and business teams, using RAML 1.0 in Design Center in Anypoint Platform.
  • Gather requirements from Product teams and analyze them as part of the agile scrum activities, like sprint planning, refinement, estimation.
  • Determine potential risks related to development and project deliverables with deadlines, during the starting of the project as well as during each Sprint planning and initiation meetings.
  • Conduct daily standup meetings with my team (both onsite and offshore) and sometime the bigger project team, about the daily status of development progress.
  • Implement the APIs using Mule 4 and Dataweave 2 technologies to create REST and SOAP APIs for the internal and external systems to connect to. Connect with different web services/RESTful services, databases, Salesforce, SAP PO, etc using different connectors.
  • Deploy and maintain cloud and on-premise deployments of these APIs using Gitlab and Azure DevOps repositories and their CI/CD pipelines.
  • Implement network and gateway security using Anypoint platform using Client ID enforcement, OAuth, and Okta security.
  • Configure event logging for easy tracking of transactions in both Production and Non-Production environments.
  • Conduct peer reviews on teammates codes and get our work verified by other peers, to make sure it follows the development standards followed at Hallmark.
  • Coordinate with other teams like business teams and testing teams to make sure the work is on time without any blockers.
  • Monitor production code bases and support the after-release days of the APIs developed.
  • Documentation of APIs developed and maintaining cloud builds are part of the role.

This job requires a minimum of Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information system, computer information systems, information technology, a closely related filed, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
